Built in 1898 and originally named Shawbridge Station, was a required stop for travelers from Montreal to go "up north". In 1990, Canadian Pacific removes the rails of «P'tit train du nord». Cross-country skiers and cyclists then took control of the path that became the longest linear park in North America.
